Like the rivers of Maine, the history and stories of our state flow through our communities, creating the culture and heritage of the towns that make up the Pine Tree State. And just as the lives along Maine’s waterways have changed over the years, so have the cities and towns, as well as the people. Time moves on, like a river’s current and over time, the stories become faint, or even get lost if someone isn’t willing to capture them.
RiverVision Press, a Maine-based small press, strives to capture the stories of the people and places that make Maine unique. Our focus remains on publishing history, memoirs and current accounts of our state, in a way that doesn’t glamorize, or falsely sentimentalize, or trivialize the state as we know it.
